Biography
Luke Sawczak is a teacher and writer in Toronto. His writing has appeared in numerous publications, including Sojourners, Acta Victoriana, Queen’s Quarterly, and the Humber Literary Review. In his spare time he composes for the piano.

2013 - University of Napoli - Creative nonfiction piece “Royaume” was a finalist in a contest called Napoli Racconta; the prize was being translated into Italian and published in an anthology.

I worked as a freelance editor for many years and was also a copy editor and then editor-in-chief of The Medium, U of Toronto Mississauga's student newspaper. I teach English and French at the high school level, and this has also given me extensive exposure to the writing and editing process required to make good work excellent.
